Well, there is sun outside. Actual sun. Of course it's 32 degrees but no one cares. It's sunny! When I took the dog out this morning, I immediately started pulling weeds, just because it wasn't raining.
Washingtonians are silly.
Adam's birthday was great. Not too many awkward moments with parents. Most of them pretty much threw their child through the front door and ran away as fast as they could. I think I heard tires squealing a couple of times. We did learn something: Next time we decide to have 9 eight-year-olds in the same house at the same time we're putting on a movie. It was the only thing that pulled them off of the ceiling at the end. Thank you Wall-E.
Well, Adam had a blast and that was the whole point.
Our only other big news is that Colleen finally got her car! It's adorable, she loves it and that's all that matters. No one can complain about a '98 Civic, really. Especially when it's shiny :). We'll post pictures as soon as I can remind her to take some pictures of it when it's light out.
Speaking of light, it's staying light out later. Thank you again spring (and daylight savings). Goodbye driving home from work in the dark, hello BBQ for dinner and picnics on Wednesdays. I'm going to go pull some weeds. After all, it's a balmy 32 degrees and I can see the sun!
I'll post some pics when my computer isn't being an %$#%#@.
